Carles Puyol’s Face Mask for El Clasico – FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid

The second El Clasico match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid for the Supercopa de España will be played tomorrow Wednesday 29th August 2012 at the time of 22:30 PM CEST in Madrid (Santiago Bernabeu stadium). Be aware that the time in Madrid is +2 hours from GMT so work out your local time to watch this new and exciting El Clasico match which will decide who is the champion of the 2012 Supercopa de España!

One of the more interesting tidbits for tomorrow’s Supercopa de España is that Carles Puyol will be playing with a cool face mask which he already had worn back in 2004 and for which his teammates Lionel Messi and Xavi Hernandez had joked about before. Check out Puyol’s former face mask below, he’ll be wearing one like this tomorrow too!

Carles Puyol broke his right cheekbone this last Sunday playing against Osasuna yet, El Tiburon (as he is affectionately called by Gerard Pique and the rest of Barsa players), is planning to play on the second match of this Supercopa de España; anytime Mr. Puyol is on the field, the match has a much more competitive and brute vibe so his appearance in this epic Spanish soccer match is very much looked forward by those of us who appreciate great soccer!

On the other hand, Real Madrid’s defender Pepe is forecasted to also be playing in tomorrow’s second El Clasico; he could not play the first El Clasico match for the Supercopa de España which took place last Thursday 23th August because he had injured himself in the match prior to El Clasico: he unintentionally clashed heads against teammate Iker Casillas and he (Pepe) was knocked out and had to be taken to hospital. And on a hair related note, Sergio Ramos’ hairstyle is still looking diesel as he has refused to grow his straight locks again, keeping his mane at a medium length and parted to the side.

Tomorrow’s El Clasico will be a great second match as the first match ended 3-2 for FC Barcelona which means that Real Madrid will enter the field ready for battle, so much more because they are playing home for their supporters and the Santiago Bernabeu will be packed so as to cheer for the Madrileños!

The video below is the first El Clasico played last Thursday in which FC Barcelona beat Real Madrid 3-2 at Camp Nou stadium:

Again, this is the date and time for this second El Clasico match for the Supercopa de España (aka Spanish Supercup)Wednesday 29th August 2012 at 22:30 PM CEST. In Madrid (Santiago Bernabeu).

Don’t miss it, Carles Puyol and his funky face mask will be there too!

All the best,

Rogelio
